TSPDL has a penchant for quality precision and maintenance of international standards. Our people assimilate best practices the world over and successfully implement them in their own areas of work. TSPDL has 8 processing plants & 17 distribution centres. Distribution centers that have been setup, are equipped with the state-of-the-art machinery, most contemporary technological know-how, excellent inventory management aided with SAP R/3 and the best in the business distribution facilities.

TSPDL has sourced its machinery from Equipment manufacturers like Red Bud, Hollow Block, Esmech etc and subjected itself to the strict international standards so as to meet to the most complex customer demand, concentrating on the minute details of the product quality and service delivery details. The critical processing requirements like length tolerance, burr height, width tolerance, shape in roll formed section variance, pickled surface quality, etc are certain issues that we are very serious of. In processing, the quality of the machine spares is very critical for maintaining the quality of the product and its tolerances. The packaging requirements are also very important for Customer and accounts for almost 30% in consumables in HR and upto 80% in CR processing. For on time delivery of processed steel, the transporters play an important value adding role. Since the entire operation is on SAP ERP package linked to all India Tata Steel SAP network, it is critical to maintain the real-time data availability in the network. This calls for strong support from IT related service suppliers like Hughes Escorts for satellite connectivity, BSNL for lease line maintenance and Tata Technologies for SAP maintenance.
