Tata Steel Processing and Distribution Limited (TSPDL) encourages students from various Business Schools & Engineering Institutes from all over the country to undertake Internship Projects, having duration of 8 weeks.
For every trainee, a project guide is assigned who generally has vast experience & knowledge in the particular field.
During the tenure of the project, there are mid-point assessments, which are generally intimated by the concerned project-guides. The trainees are expected to have regular interactions with their guides, for the purpose of the assessments. At the end of the tenure of project, the trainees have to conduct a presentation of their reports in front of the senior management. Depending on the performance & necessary evaluations, the trainees are suitably rewarded.
What we look for
While hiring trainees, we assess the candidates on the following parameters:
- Functional/Technical knowledge
- Application of the desired knowledge
- Interpersonal (Behavioural) skills
- Flexibility & mobility
How we search
We invite applications from various institutes for summer projects. After preparing the initial shortlist of the candidates, we conduct personal interviews, wherein the above-mentioned criteria are adjudged.
Based on the candidates' ability & mobility as well as the organisational fit, candidates are offered the projects.
