Automobile Industry | Construction | White Goods Industry
The automobile industry has reinvented itself over the past 25 years. The grip that North American and (to a lesser extent) European manufacturers had, has eroded by strong competition from their Asian counterparts. Given the cost advantages India offers, more and more global automobile and component players are scaling up their presence in this country. Few major key findings like per head disposal income in India is growing at CAGR of 12.11%, car stock per 1000 population is expected to increase at a CAGR of 9.14% and new passenger car registration is expected to grow at a CAGR of 11.41% indicate that India is becoming the next Auto hub.
The challenge here is not that the major OEMs are approaching this country in virtue of its population growth, low labour rate and the escalating economy but whether this country can add value to their supply chain. Can good quality raw materials be provided? Can they provide them the quantity they demand and yet practise Just in Time (JIT)? This is a time where the need of a Steel Service Centre arises. TSPDL sources the steel from the Steel Mills, stocks them in their state-of-the-art inventory houses, processes them with their world class machineries and finally packs them and dispatches them off. This whole process adds enormous value in the auto value-chain, which actually reflects in their balance sheet. And this is what we are doing on a continuous basis to all our auto customers.
TSPDL can provide you the competitive edge in integrating production process through cost-effective solutions. TSPDL makes sure that excellent quality products and precisely processed materials are available at your doorsteps Just in Time. The Products & Services section lets you understand our offerings and how they cater to your dynamic needs profitably. We build relationships and this is what makes us your most preferred partner.

Construction sector is the second largest industry after agriculture. The sector is witnessing sharp growth as a result of large investments being made in roads, power, airports and other infrastructure areas. The real estate sector, especially the commercial, residential and retail is growing by leaps and bounds.
To help the construction industry to cope up to this ever-increasing growth and shortage in skilled manpower, Tata Steel Processing and Distribution Limited has set up India's first offsite Rebar processing centre at Faridabad and caters the needs of the construction sector in the National Capital Region . The reinforcing bars are procured from the customer approved mills and are cut and bent to complex shapes as per the requirement of the customers.
The rebar processing machines sourced from world class manufacturers are capable of cutting and bending reinforcement bars of diameters ranging from 6 mm to 60 mm. For better understanding of the process flow and product benefit, etc., refer to Products and service section.
White Goods Industry
Virtually every large multinational - including BlueStar, Samsung, LG, Philips, Electrolux, Whirlpool, among others - has set up production facilities in India to manufacture appliances. The overall trend towards higher foreign participation in this sector has also translated into government reducing levies and duties. For instance, duties on air conditioners have come down to 16 per cent from the all time high of 40 per cent. Besides consumers have benefited hugely as they now have products that meet global quality standards as well as offer more consumer-friendly features such as energy efficiency.
A combination of changing lifestyles, higher disposable income, greater product awareness and affordable pricing has been instrumental in changing the pattern of consumer expenditure. The consumer durables industry, which includes white goods, televisions, VCD and DVD players, and audio systems, has been one of the segments to experience increased demand.
Staying in tune with the above data TSPDL is gearing itself to meet up to their needs. In this competitive environment what can a White Goods OEM ask for- quality products, excellent processing, quality handling and JIT dispatch. This is a point wherein TSPDL can chip in with its state-of-the-art machinery, excellent inventory management, packaging and JIT dispatch. The quality standards we follow are at par with the International standards and are acclaimed across the continents.
