On 18th January 2010, Tata Ryerson formally adopted its new name Tata Steel Processing And Distribution Limited. Tata Ryerson has set up a steel service centre in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand with an investment of Rs 50 crore to cater to the needs of auto industry in Northern India. The service centre was inaugurated by Tata Ryerson 's Chairman, Mr. Frank Munoz on Feb 12, 2009.

Tata Ryerson has set up a service centre for plate processing and fabrication at Tada in Andhra Pradesh to cater to the growing earthmoving and construction equipment market in India. The service centre was inaugurated by Tata Ryerson ’s Chairman, Mr Frank Munoz on Feb 9, 2009.

The centre, set up at an investment of Rs 50 crore, will provide a range of services including oxy fuel, plasma and laser cutting, shearing, press bending and welding of plates for ordinary carbon steel and alloy steel to a very high strength and high hardness steel.

The service centre is a part of continuous effort to work closely with customers and provide more value to them.
